The project became Bronze Winner in Digital (Media Promotion) category during the 26th annual London International Awards (LIA). LIA are one of the longest established creative shows in the world. This year saw 14 thousand entries from 79 countries.

    K2 Group announces an increase in consolidated revenue of 40% for the first nine months of the year 2010, compared to the same period in 2009, reporting nearly PLN 40 million. Net profit exceeded PLN 2 million (PLN 2,386 thousand compared with a loss of PLN 1,409 thousand as of September 30, 2009). The EBITDA exceeded PLN 3 million (PLN 3,356 thousand compared to minus PLN 694 thousand as of September 30, 2009).

    Nowe Sukiennice in Augmented Reality technology
    PZU Group, designated as a patron of the National Museum in Kraków and a sponsor of the Nowe Sukiennice project, invited K2 Internet and Leo Burnett agencies to take part in creating a multimedia project to promote the modernised Gallery of 19th Century Polish Art. A mobile application “Nowy wymiar Sukiennic” plays an important part of the project as it shows a 3D model of the Sukiennice building in the augmented reality technology and provides eight 2D video films depicting the most interesting painting masterpieces which are presented at the exhibition. The application has been designed for iPhone 3GS.

    A new stage of the PZU marketing campaign has begun with a slogan: “Watch out for dummy insurance offers!". Its communication activities focus on a non-standard use of the YouTube service: www.youtube.com/atrapy. The concept for the campaign comes from K2 Internet, while promotion has been planned by ACR interactive media house.
  • K2 announces improved financial results for second quarter 2010
    K2 Group announces an increase in consolidated revenue of more than 40% for the six-month period ended June 30, 2010, compared to the same period in 2010, reporting PLN 25,500 thousand. Net profit totalled PLN 590 thousand (compared with a loss of PLN 1 million in the first half of 2009). The EBITDA stood at PLN 1,243 thousand (compared to minus PLN 477 thousand for the first 6 months of 2009). It should be noted that it has been almost a solely organic increase. The company expects a substantial impact on next year’s financial results thanks to the last year’s investment in Brainshop U-Boot advertising agency.

    2008 financial results best in the K2 Group’s history
    K2 Group has recorded the best financial results in its history and continued the 8-year period, within which each year both the revenue and profits have increased. The revenue from sales of K2 Group exceeded in 2008 the amount of PLN 40 mln, which was nearly a 60-percent increase. The pace of growth of the net income was slightly faster: the final end-year amount reached PLN 2.7 mln.

    For K2 Internet S.A., a company quoted on the stock exchange and operating in the field of e-marketing, the 4th quarter of 2008 brought the best financial performance ever. Its consolidated sales reached 14,788,000 PLN, which was a growth by 72% compared to the same period of 2007. The profit from sales increased to 3,250,000 PLN (against 702,000 in Q4 2007), and the net profit – to 2,534,000 (against 490,000 in Q4 2007).

    Within the cooperation with Volvo brand, K2 has conducted a three-stage promotional campaign dedicated to the latest Volvo model XC60 premiering officially on the Polish market. These promotion activities translated into a sales success of the new car. During the first 5 weeks of the campaign, as much as 40 percent of the budgeted annual sales of XC60 was achieved.
    “We are happy that this well-thought-out and well conducted campaign to a large extent has contributed to the increase in the Volvo XC60 sales. The goal has been achieved”, comments Mariusz Nycz, Communication Manager from Volvo Auto Polska.

    On 9 December 2008, the awards in the 4th edition of Webstar Festival were announced and handed over at the official gala. This year, our projects obtained as many as 5 main awards and 4 honourable mentions.

    One of the most important awards, Grand Webstar Creative, was won by the project accomplished for Play brand – www.zajacmroku.pl, while the mailing campaign related to this project was presented with Webstar Creative award in the category E-mail marketing.

    Rebuilding Sanitec Koło website
    The main goal of the project was to adjust the website’s appearance to the brand’s character, shorten the time needed to find necessary information and facilitate the viewing of the product catalogue. In order to respond to this challenge, 21 people – employees of Sanitec Koło, K2 Internet agency and Komitywa.com – for 11 months put in order nearly 5 thousand products of the four brands, conducted 4 testing sessions with users, prepared 100 functionality models, around fifteen graphic designs and over 200 pages of text.

    K2 with Gazeta.pl not only on the Internet!
    K2 Internet in partnership with the Gazeta.pl portal, prepared a campaign “Who advertises Gazeta.pl? Portal from scratch.” This time K2 created not only the Internet campaign, but also the slogan “Portal from scratch” and the idea for the outdoor campaign as well as handling the production of advertising skits, which is the first such action of the agency since it was established.
