K2 among Pitch Blades Awards winners.
K2 Internet won an award in the “Digital: Media Owners & Entertainment” category of the Pitch Blades Awards 2011. The winning project – “MTV Live HD Experience the Music” – was commissioned by MTV Networks Polska.
Pitch Blades Awards, an international advertising creativity showcase, is supported by the British industry media: CreativeReview, Design Week, Marketing Week, and newmediaage. Creations and projects compete in four major categories¨: Digital, Design, Advertising, and Media. Each category is divided into a detailed range of subcategories, to which entries need to be classified.
The winning project – a multimedia campaign for MTV Live HD channel – was prepared to have a global impact. The channel viewers were encouraged to visit a newly designed website http://experience.mtvnhd.com, where they could use a special application enabling them to take part in one of five videos. Final results could then be shared via email or through Facebook. The campaign was launched in five countries: Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium and Australia.
The project, designed by K2 Internet, won the highest award in the “Digital: Media Owners & Entertainment” category after having competed with three other finalists: “Xbox Fable III Kingmaker” by McCann Ericson London, “Cheryl Cole: Show your love for Cheryl” by MediaCom, and “BBC World Cup Team Tracker & Predictor“ by mailto:Saint@RKCR/Y&R.
