K2 and Oktawave carry out an international project for Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola and Lidl jointly carry out the consumer promotion on the selected European markets, which relates to this year’s edition of FIFA World Cup in Brazil. K2 team is responsible for designing and implementation of the registration system for eight counties: Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, the North Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Hosting to ensure stability of the system is provided by Oktawave – K2’s cloud computing. 
The promotion itself is based on a simple mechanism: in order to participate in the draw, a person needs to buy a Coca-Cola bottle in a local Lidl store and register 
a receipt on the WWW site. The first stage of the promotion commenced on the 24th April and ended on the 1st June. The prize was an all-inclusive trip with double tickets to the World Cup football match in Salvador. The next stage started in June with double tickets and all-inclusive trip to the World Cup Final in Brazil as the prize. 
The greatest challenge of this project was organization and reconciliation of the needs of all participants, legal provisions and local regulations, all successfully accomplished. We are very pleased with the results of the promotion as at this moment– says Robert Tajsiak, Area Customer Manager CSE in Coca-Cola Poland Services. 
K2 works for Coca-Cola Company since 2003. Several dozen of marketing project have been completed during that time.
