Challenge.

The project was aimed at creating the mobile application for Leroy Merlin enabling to search through the catalogue with more than 70,000 products and to buy using a mobile phone. Moreover, the application was supposed to be dedicated also to customers of brick and mortar shops — enable them to check availability of products in selected locations and facilitate moving throughout the shop.

Solution.

We have created the concept and designed the application's user interface for three platforms: iOS, Android and Windows. The application enables to browse the offer, buy product as a registered or non‑registered customer, be up‑to‑date with promotions and special offers, create purchase lists, scan barcodes and QR codes from products, as well as create virtual version of DOM Loyalty Program card and check points collected on it.

Results.

The application designed by K2 is a fully omnichannel solution. It allows online shopping, combining shopping carts from the application and leroymerlin.pl website and makes shopping in brick and mortar stores easier.
