    Chairman of the supervisory board

    41 years old. Graduated from Warsaw University, Faculty of Economic Sciences. Since 1995 an investment advisor (license no. 25), since 1999 a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) title. Author of "Sekurytyzacja aktywów na świecie i w Polsce” [Securitization of assets worldwide and in Poland] (Finance and Banking, 1997), author of numerous articles and publications concerning capital market.

    From 1994 to 2005 his career was associated with capital market as he worked as a broker, analyst and manager of retail customers and investment funds portfolios. He worked for e.g. AIG Asset Management SA, ABN AMRO Asset Management SA, Brokerage House BIG BG.

    In the past, he was a member of supervisory boards of e.g. Zachodni Fundusz Inwestycyjny NFI SA, Artman SA, Hydrotor SA, Plast-Box SA. Currently he is an individual investor.

    Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

    Jens Spyrka has been member of bmp media investors' executive board since 1 July 2011.

    Since 1999, he has already been directly responsible for more than 30 investments in Central and Eastern Europe for bmp  and in the area of media and & marketing services and has a very good track record. He was also managing director of a €10 million parallel fund with DEG Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH with an investment focus on Central and Eastern Europe from 2000 to 2007 and is proven expert of the polish market.

    Prior to his work for bmp media investors AG Jens Spyrka worked in various functions at BAO BERLIN – Marketing Service GmbH, most recently as head of the foreign trade division.

    Jens Spyrka graduated in political science (foreign policy) at the Institute of International Relations in Potsdam-Babelsberg.  He is a member of the Supervisory Board at Vertical Tech Media AG too.

  • Piotr Zbaraski

    Born in 1970. Graduated from the Leeds University, the Faculty of Mathematics (in years 1989-1993). Has a rich experience in the field of investment banking gained in Credit Suisse First Boston (in years 1996-1998), ING Barings (in years 1999-2000) and ABN AMRO Corporate Finance Sp. z o.o. (in years 2003-2004). During his work in the banking sector, both in Warsaw and in London, he assisted as a counsellor in some flagship transactions, inter alia on the Polish market, including privatization of Telekomunikacja Polska and KGHM, and in some private mergers and acquisitions.
    Furthermore, he has a significant operational experience gained while working as a Deputy Director of Finance in Elektrim and the Member of the Management Board in Wirtualna Polska. His cooperation with the latter ended with the successfully finalised transaction of the company’s sale to Telekomunikacja Polska. In 2005 he rolled out his own coaching business, cooperating with domestic and foreign „blue-chips” such as SAP, PwC, Agora, Pramerica, EMPiK, Nokia and Colgate –Palmolive.
    In 2006 he merged with Telos Partners in order to provide more comprehensive services to customers. As of 2008 he acts in the capacity of the supervisory board’s member of Delfarma Sp. z o.o.
    He is a qualified auditor recognized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and the holder of the Certificate of Corporate Coaching Masterclass issued by Coaching Academy (UK).

  • Janusz Żebrowski

    member of the Supervisory Board

    Born in 1970.  Graduate of the Management Faculty of the Warsaw University.

    In years 1991-1993 he worked in the Ministry of Finance dealing with the national bank restructuring. Then, up to 1997 he was a Vice Director of the Investment Banking Department in PBK S.A bank. From 1997 to 2000 he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston, recently on the position of the Vice President.

    Janusz Żebrowski was a co-founder with minority interest of K2 Internet Provider s.c. – the company founded by Michał Lach, which was later transformed into K2 Internet S.A. From July 2000 to October 2003 he acted as the Vice President of the Management Board of K2, and was responsible for managing the Company’s finances. From November 2003 he was the President of the Management Board and the Managing Director of K2 Internet S.A. As from the beginning of 2007 to the 31st October 2013 he was the President of the Management Board. As soon as he started to work in K2 he supervised all key projects such as acquiring financing from VC fund, carrying out IPO, acquisitions and new ventures, and, at the same time, maintained relationships with main clients and partners.

    Besides supporting development of businesses K2 Group is composed of, Janusz Żebrowski currently provides advisory services and is engaged in investments in new technological ventures.

  • Robert Fijołek

    member of the supervisory board

    Born in 1973. Graduated from Akademia Ekonomiczna in Poznań (finance and banking faculty) and IESE Business School in Barcelona (Advance Management Program). In 2007, AIMR association (currently CFA Institute) awarded him the professional CFA title (Chartered Financial Analyst). Moreover, he completed many training courses and on-the-job training courses, inter alia, in ABN AMRO Asset Management in Amsterdam, ABN AMRO Bank in London and ING Investment Management in Hague. 

    He has been active on the capital market since 1995. In years 2008-2009 as the President of the Management Board of NFI Progress SA, where, together with his team, he strived to transform the company’s operations into the private equity fund. In years 2005-2009 he was employed in BPH TFI SA., as the Assets Management Director, (previously, as the vice director and the funds’ manager) and was responsible for  strategy and the supervision over the Association’s investment operations. In years 2002-2005 he was employed in ABN AMRO Bank (Poland) SA as the Chief of Debt Instrument Sales, earlier (2000-2002) in ABN AMRO Asset Management (Poland) S.A., as the Portfolio Manager, (1996 – 1998) in Bank Śląski in Katowice as a Dealer, (1995-1996) Górnośląski Bank Gospodarczy [Upper Silesia Economic Bank} as a Dealer. Currently, he is the member of the Supervisory Boards in ED Invest SA and Onico SA.

    In years 2011-2012 he was the member of the Supervisory Boards of Polish Energy Partners SA and in years 2011-2013 of Bumech SA and Fluid SA.
    In years 2008-2009, during his work in NFI Progress SA he was the member of Supervisory Boards of portfolio companies of Scanmed SA WPS Goczałków SA, VIS Investments Sp z.o.o. SKA, CT Żuraw SA, Barista Sp z o.o.
