K2 invests in the Department of Technology Strategy
K2 agency is reinforcing its technological competences by creating the Department of Technology Strategy – a team comprised of business analysts and technology strategists, which connects strong IT competences with business knowledge. Mikołaj Machowczyk is managing the department as Director of Technology Strategy, previously responsible for mobile development at K2 Group.
The new department is responsible for drawing up recommendations of facilitating technology solutions for clients, and managing requirements in IT projects realized by K2 agency. Its goal is to support clients and other departments in the agency by effectively using technology for business development. The team’s main areas of activity are web applications, websites, mobile applications, e-commerce solutions, marketing automation, embedded and wearable systems, CMS, and anything that requires engineer and analytical approach.
Mikołaj Machowczyk has been dealing with developing technology projects using the Internet for 18 years, mobile for 10 years. He’s been involved with K2 for over 3 years during which he was a mobile technology consultant for clients such as: Carrefour, Pekao SA Bank, Getin Bank, ORLEN, PZU, IKEA, Coca-Cola, Heineken, and Play. He’s the finalist of international advertisement competition, Cannes Lions 2013 in the Innovation category.
Since 1997, K2 has been transforming new technologies into business results for its clients, by creating and providing long-term support for Internet communication platforms of PKO BP, loyalty program of ORLEN VITAY, Carrefour’s website and mobile applications, loyalty program of IKEA Family, and many others.
