49% of young people report worse job prospects because of the pandemic. Many of them felt that the professions they were training for would not provide them with good jobs in the future. Google, together with SGH, created a reskilling education program to help them get a profession with a future. But how to encourage them, to decide to often completely change their idea of themselves?
Introduce young people to an 8-week course from Google and SGH that helps them learn new digital skills and prepares them to start working in digital marketing. The goal was to attract 6,000 applications in a long application form.
We created the name "Skills of Tomorrow" and prepared the concept and communication strategy for the program. We invited influencers to work with us to break down fears and barriers related to changing plans for a professional future. We built awareness of Google's educational program and received a lot of positive feedback on the program from young people.
We have given a new professional start to thousands of young people, who can look more boldly into the future and build their careers on a solid foundation.
